For those with longer memories.......... it is the 45th birthday of decimal currency today. :)

Yes remember it well, 10th July 1967, I was in the Third form (year 9 for you younguns) at Tauranga Boys College.  Decimal conversion was the brainchild of one Robert Muldoon who was the "Young Turk" Finance Minister in the then National Government.

Unfortunately 10th July is also the anniversary of my fathers death 29 years ago this year.
