Started raining about 20 Minutes ago at Ohauiti Weather just SW of Tauranga after a couple of earlier light but short showers that were not enough to trip the Rain Meter although it is now at 0.3mm with a Rain rate of 3.6mm/Hour.

New Plymouth: rain started up again a little while ago. Moderate NE winds, 13 to 14 degrees covers most of the days temperature.
I lit up the fire and dragged in plenty of wood so I need not get wet going to the woodshed!

can see moon light through the clouds, so the warm front is finally pushing through here now (temperature slowly rising, now at 15.7C, the max for the day (even though its 8:30pm!)

Unbelievable Weather Display, same here. Moon now coming and going and no lie our temp is 15.8 and the high for the day :)

I see that its 17C in the far north now, and there must have been a quick fire CB just brush the bay of islands too (I picked up lightning and the new lightning network picked up the strikes too)

Wow - our high was 16.1°C at 8.58pm and has dropped since. Wind has dropped off to calm after a blustery NE earlier.
