coastal cloud has moved in here, stopping it from warming up by the sun, so a cold morning so far here
as the wind comes in it will warm up faster

Port Robinson 12.35pm

Christchurch to Port Robinson weather, cloudless with little wind. A pleasant drive back this morning.
Temperature  now 11.7° after an overnight low of 5.5°. The St Albans Christchurch pad low was about -2.2°. There is a very light NW breeze blowing at the moment.

temperature rising here this evening, as the SW wind slowly increases (i.e a new air mass originating from around the tasman high is pushing in now)

Calm out this way, and the temperature is dropping away...down to 9.2°C. I wonder if  the breeze will penetrate inland again overnight - otherwise could be quite a difference between our lows tomorrow morning  ;)
