Very heavy showers of hail overnight- suspect at least a couple of cm settled on ground. Now mostly all washed away

Now looks to be clearing

O/N low of 6.1deg right now, 5-15km/hr SW breeze but looks calm out there. Another clear blue sky dawns!

Most leaves have fallen and there is now a big job to clean up!!  Some oak trees are still holding on to their brown remnants.

Fine clear morning with just a cloud bank out to sea on the horizon. Temperature 4.3° heading for a predicted high of only 9°. Wind from the WSW at around 6kmh. Highest gust during the last hour 16kmh. Should remain fine for the rest of the day.
