Jack as in frost put in a reasonable appearance at Ohauiti just SW of Tauranga the morning but the gague only got to 2.7C, my manual ground level air temp sensor got down to -2.8C, third night in a row less than 0.00C. Helicopters were buzzing kiwifruit blocks lower down on the other side of the valley all night. More data available at www.ohauitiweather.co.nz.

Oh but what a result, a fantastic Blue dome sky and warm sunshine, worth suffering a bit of cold for. Not much wind either, just wish I could sit in that glorious sun all day but alas I can't, stuck in front of dual screens re-programming an Excel Spreadsheet Application!
