anyone using the new 1.9.3 beta version of Cumulus?
i am temted to try it out, but I've never bothered with beta versions before - always waited for stable versions.
am curious what people's experiences with it have been?
should i give it a crack or just wait till it's all stable?
-
I dont think you would find any problems, maybe just check the cumulus forum for any problems that version
-
Its perfectly stable and will give you heaps more features :)
Before you upgrade though it is always wise to make a complete copy of the Cumulus folder you have which should be in Program files. Then just go a head and install.
All good :)

well I gave it a crack. no problems so far.
also tried my hand at a few of the additional extras - set up those fancy gauges which I like quite a lot and also the NOAA monthly/yearly pages.
all very nifty stuff.
will have to see what else I find....
-
Looks good. Yes those gauges are cool.
How do you like the monthly comparison page. Kinda interesting I thought.

i think the monthly comparisons are really good and will be very interesting once I have more data to compare.
just need more time.....
-
Oohh, I do like the look of that.
Mighty have a looksie myself!!

Updated..and it seems to be seamless.
Will the monthly reports sort themselves out by themsevles...or do I need to do something?
-
Did you install over the top Intrepid?
We have a lot missing :)
-
Yep, straight over the top. I think it says something about NOAA type monthly reports.. is that them?
