Title: Clientraw.txt Format
Post by: JennyLeez on May 04, 2012, 12:42:13 PM
Dear Mr Weather-Display or member :)

I have hunted through the WD forum but to no avail.
Could someone please link me to a page somewhere on the net which breaks down the clientraw.txt file explaining what each field represents.
e.g. date, temp high, hum high, windrun.

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks you two.
Ok so is this the latest. I have 000 to 164.

Am I correct with skimming up and down that there is no windrun field?

011 - Max Rain Rate  - Could you confirm that this is the Day Max Rain rate please?

Thanks again :).

Was I subtle :)

Yes please and in km.
Looking at your clientraw you may wish to add it in kt to keep the continuity.
We can convert when we lift as with the Max Gust.
Thank you once again :)

One of our WD members upgraded yesterday but unfortunately the windrun has a mind of its own.
Have you any idea what we need to do to fix this please.
Each month is incorrect and also the current month weekrep.htm.

Thank you in advance.

I have fixed that problem, happend if kmh or m/s was in use
in build 26 .zip update
which also now has the daily wind run added to the end of the clientraw.txt file (I decided to use km/h as kts is not really a distance measure)

I have the list of fields that Graeme linked me to above.
I would really appreciate the fields from 164 onwards if someone has these.
There should be at least up to 173.
Thank you in advanced

Have sent you a description file Jenny, but its possible its not up to date either after recent changes for us.  But I may be proved wrong again and Brian may have caught up and added the changes in.  It has a date of 18 May on it.
