Nice pink tinge to the sky this morning - is that a valentines thing?
-
Another dull day, light rain has fallen 0.4mm temperature of 13.9 degrees and 93% humidity, Do not expect it to improve much during the day :(
-
A cooler night with overnight low of 12.5ºC and just a few whispy cirrus up there with thin alto stratus and no fluffies in sight. Breeze is SE at 0-3km/hr. It looks like a lovely day is dawning, but a messy couple of fronts are coming in slowly from the Tasman and may cause some late afternoon clouds and activity.

19.4 degrees, 29mm rainfall so far. 17mm in around 20mins, then it stopped for the Sun to come out.
Taranaki Regional Council has a number of rain sites across the city. Waste water treatment plant reported 15.5mm as their 30 minutes total.
Update: the sites are behind, plus also in NZST so I was wrong about the localised comment I made earlier. Nearest two sites to me were 19mm and 20.5mm per half an hour.

A whole 0.6mm of rain here so far today, but looking at some of my cam images from the day there could have been more rain south of me.
High temp of 27.2 again

High of 27.2 today, so far the low is 13.8 - but that might go lower if we get the promised rain.
