Description: Snowing in Paekakariki on 9 July 2015. The polar Southerly met a warmer NW and Northerly, forming ice crystals and snowing. This is what it is like inside a glaciated Stratocumulus cloud. The blue tinge is freezing cold air directly from Antartica via Baring Head. Geesh it was cold with our hills looking more like Canterbury. LOL we've had all sorts this winter, it hasn't been boring weather.
