I would pick the sunny mild June 1958 as better than any of these warmest ones. 203 hours sunshine at Blenheim, though it beat its own NZ record the very next year. An exceptionally bright month in eastern districts from Marlborough northwards, with no real feel of winter about it. Of the cold ones, June 1972 and June 1969 (except in Auckland northward in the latter case) had some compensation in being relatively dry and bright over most of the country.

The mild June 2011 was very drab over most of the country.
